Music @ the Intersection
Fridays, June 17, July 15 and September 16 This summer, Grand Center once again heats up for Music @ The Intersection – the innovative, all-local music festival that showcases the best of St. Louis talent across multiple genres. The dates for the second annual festival shows are Fridays, June 17, July 15 and September 16 and include local beer tents, street art, food and drink specials, and much more. On June 17, Grand Center will be awash in purple as the season's first "Music @ The Intersection" festival is a local tribute to Prince with more than 12 local bands, DJs and MCs coming together to collectively celebrate his music and its influence on theirs.
Free Architecture and History Walking Tours

Take a journey back in time with our richly detailed narrated walking tour. The free 1.5-mileguided tour provides a fascinating look into the District's magnificent buildings, rich history, dynamic neighborhood, and vibrant arts culture, as well as provide a glimpse of the exciting plans for the future. New Park Space Announced!
Grand Center, Inc. has announced plans to construct a new public park, to be called Arts Academy Plaza, in the Grand Center District. Situated diagonally across from the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra and adjacent to The Grand Center Arts Academy, the 14,000 sq/ft green space located at the corner of Grand Blvd and Grandel Square will be transformed into a dynamic and innovative public park. Forum Studio, in collaboration with Land Collective and Grand Center constituents, led the design of the space. Construction of the park is scheduled to begin in mid-summer and is expected to be complete in December 2016. Significant support for the project was received from the Dana Brown Charitable Trust and an anonymous donor.

Tennessee williams Tennessee Williams Festival
You won’t want to miss St. Louis’s first annual Tennessee Williams Film Festival featuring our native son’s finest work at various venues around Grand Center. Join us for Tennessee Williams films in Public Media Commons all 5 days, The Glass Menagerie at the Kranzberg Black Box, the Hirschfeld Exhibition at the Kranzberg, music at The Dark Room and more. Pulitzer Concert 05
Wednesday, May 11
The final Pulitzer concert of the season on Wednesday, May 11 will be devoted to the works of Nico Muhly, composer of contemporary operas, chamber and symphonic works. Few figures in contemporary classical music have had both an opera premiered at the Met and collaborated with the likes of Björk, Grizzly Bear and Antony and the Johnsons. The Pulitzer Arts Foundation and the St. Louis Symphony continue their ongoing collaborative concert series hosted in Tadeo Ando’s intimate and contemporary setting. More info
