Grand Center - Free Architecture and History Walking Tours

Summer Learning Opportunities
School may be out for the summer but there are plenty of learning opportunities to be found in the District. Take a journey back in time with our free Architecture and History walking tour. Or visit Craft Alliance for Craft Tech Makerspace on May 15 to explore 3D printers, laser cutter, and other digital technology. Interested in a more hands on experience? Make a ball point pen on a lathe on May 21. Into music? Stop by the Tuesday Composer Club on Tuesdays at 8pm at The Dark Room.

Great Rivers Biennial: Lyndon Barrois Jr., Nanette Boileau, and Tate Foley
Through August 14
Art enthusiasts will not want to miss the seventh edition of the Great Rivers Biennial at the Contemporary Art Museum (open now until Aug. 14) featuring new work by St. Louis-based artists Lyndon Barrois Jr., Nanette Boileau, and Tate Foley. The Great Rivers Biennial Arts Award Program, a collaborative initiative between CAM and Gateway Foundation, identifies talented emerging and mid-career artists working in the greater St. Louis metropolitan area. Stop by on May 21 for complimentary lemonade and the opening of Green Air, the Museum's second courtyard installation by Nomad Studio, which will transform CAM's courtyard over the summer. More info

You won’t want to miss St. Louis’s first annual Tennessee Williams Film Festival featuring our native son’s finest work at various venues around Grand Center. Join us for Tennessee Williams films in Public Media Commons all 5 days, The Glass Menagerie at the Kranzberg Black Box, the Hirschfeld Exhibition at the Kranzberg, music at The Dark Room and more.
