Grand Center Tree Lighting
On November 30 start the holiday season with the Grand Center Tree Lighting Ceremony in Strauss Park! Refreshments will be provided and there will be special appearances by performers from Moscow Ballet’s The Nutcracker. Continue the evening by catching The Moscow Ballet’s performance at The Fabulous Fox immediately following the tree lighting. Nine Network Wins Four Emmy Awards!
Congratualtions to the the Nine Network who took home 4 Regional Emmy awards at the 40th Mid-America Emmy GALA! The station received the Regional Emmy for Community Service for their American Graduate work. This was a highly competitive award and recognizes excellence in programming involving the entire company in a continuing effort to focus interest on, and marshal support for, a worthy, community cause. STL Film Festival!
The 25th Annual International St. Louis Film Festival runs through November 13! This is a not miss event for film lover’s that support international, independent and documentary films. There will be showings throughout Grand Center; venues include the .Zack, Stage at KDHX, and SLU. Tickets range from $8-$13 and over 60 programs will be FREE to the public. Cats In the Commons

During the month of November, the Public Media Commons will feature viewer- submitted photos and videos of our feline friends! Not only will you have the chance to see your cat on the big screen but you can view the PBS premiere of “Nature: The Story of Cats” daily between 7-11PM. Don’t have a feline friend? Saturday, November 12 | Kranzberg Arts Center
Come experience a unique, one-night event of middle eastern music combined with Flamenco belly dancing! Final Veil will present upbeat middle eastern music mixed with electronic music and will be joined by acclaimed Flamenco dancer Beth Steinbrenner and her band.
