Grand Center - Storytime in the Commons

Clyde C. Miller Career Academy: Phoenix Fox
Students from Miller Career Academy will be running their own Café on Wednesday, October 19 from 11AM-1PM on-campus. Stop by for salads, gourmet sandwiches, and a fish and shrimp platter entrée! You can support these hardworking students and our fellow neighbors by dining in or ordering take-out ahead of time and have it delivered to you. New and Improved First Fridays Website
A new and improved First Fridays in Grand Center website launched this week. The new site features First Friday's Instagram feed (#firstfridaysgc) along with Instagram and Twitter feeds from each participating museum. Be sure to regularly visit the "News" page for announcements about openings, closings and other special First Firday's events.

Upcoming Shows at New Line & Upstream!
Current productions by New Line Theatre and Upstream Productions will make you laugh and cry. New Line Theatre is presenting “CELEBRATION”, a musical and based off of a Sumerian ritual play! Upstream Productions is presenting “Suspended” a story about two window cleans who discover how different they are as refugees. Explore the relationship between your body and buildings with join yoga instructor, Mallory Nezam, and cultural historian, Michael Allen on Saturday, October 15 at 10AM at the Pulitzer Arts Foundation. During the first half of this program participants will visit an architectural site and will then explore the similarities between body and buildings through the art of yoga during the second half!
