Directions, Maps and Parking
Starting March 14, 2011, Grand Avenue Bridge between Chouteau and Hwy 64/40 will be closed for reconstruction for approximately 15 months.
Driving Directions
From the west
Take Hwy 64/40 eastbound and use one of three exits:
Grand exit: Make a right on to Grand. Proceed north past Lindell Boulevard to enter the Grand Center district. Street, lot and garage parking are available. See Parking section (below) for more details or refer to Map (PDF download).
Vandeventer exit: Take left at stop light on to Vandeventer, proceed north to Olive or Washington, and turn right (east) to available street, lot or garage parking. See Parking section (below) for more details or refer to Map (PDF download).
Market exit: Merge left on to Market. At first light, make a left on to Compton (north) and proceed to available street, lot or garage parking. See Parking section (below) for more details or refer to Map (PDF download).
Take Hwy 44 eastbound and use the Grand exit. Take left on to Grand (north).
NOTE: The Grand Bridge over Hwy. 40 is currently closed for reconstruction. Follow the orange detour signs that direct you to make a right at Chouteau, and a left at Compton. After crossing Olive, proceed to available street, lot or garage parking. See Parking section (below) for more details or refer to Map (PDF download).
Take Hwy 70 westbound and use the Grand exit. Make a right (south) on to Grand. Proceed south to Delmar Boulevard to enter the Grand Center district. Street, lot and garage parking are available. See Parking section (below) for more details or refer to Map (PDF download).
From the east
Take Hwy 40 westbound and use the Forest Park Parkway/Grand exit. Merge to right, following Grand exit signs. Make a right on to Grand (north), cross Lindell Boulevard to enter the district. See Parking section (below) for more details or refer to Map (PDF download).
Take Hwy 44 westbound and use the Grand exit.

Parking Information
Surface Lots & Parking Garage
Grand Center has many secure parking lots conveniently located throughout the district. There is also a parking garage located on Olive, just west of Grand. Depending on the day of the week and district event schedule, parking lots may be self service or manned with an attendant. Map (PDF Download)
How to Access Parking
All parking lots and the parking garage can be accessed from Grand Boulevard,. However, on nights when multiple events, concerts and performances are occurring in the district, it is easier to access parking by using routes other than Grand: From the west of Grand: Use Spring Avenue to enter one of the parking lots/garage located on Olive, Washington or Grandel Square; From the east of Grand: Use Compton or Theresa to enter one of the parking lots located on Olive, Washington, Samuel Shepard or Delmar.
Parking Fees
Parking rates vary by location, operator and the schedule of events. Day rates are generally from $2.00 to $5.00, evening/event rates are generally from $8.00 to $10.00.
Street Parking
The Grand Center district is home to thousands of on street parking meters. Meter fees ($0.75/hour) apply until 7:00 pm Monday to Saturday.
Chaifetz Arena
If you are planning to attend an event at Chaifetz Arena, St. Louis University has a parking garage located at Olive and Compton that is conveniently located next to the arena.
