SUMMARY:Nico Play\, Enemy Airship\, Kitz Row
DESCRIPTION:Nico Play: Nico Play is the bilingual project of Nicolás Perea. Born in Mexico City and currently based in Chicago\, Nico writes songs in both Spanish and English. Enemy Airship:  At least two kinds of cool exist. One looks and feels effortless — it’s the currency of rock bands and of movie stars whose visages can withstand being magnified 50 feet tall. The other demands constant effort. This is the creative labor of taking a concept\, even a color\, and turning it over and over again until you discover what truly makes it cool. Somehow Enemy Airship manages to harbor both sides of the cool. Once a Columbia band\, now based in St. Louis\, the trio of Zach Biri\, Logan Epps and Michael Hopkins craft songs with real dimension. Skate their surface\, and the charisma is clear: gliding guitars\, forward rhythmic motion\, emotional valleys and volleys.

SUMMARY:Paul McDonald & The Mourning Doves with Yannon
DESCRIPTION:Paul McDonald & The Mourning Doves Paul McDonald’s voice is immediately recognizable and impossible to ignore.  Often compared to legends like Rod Stewart and Tom Petty\, his songs are relatable and universal. The poetic story-driven narratives and deeply catchy hooks in his music are delivered by a raspy yet refined voice reminiscent of another era yet that demands to be heard right now. He pulls off the rare feat of being a poet\, visual artist\, songwriter\, adamant performer\, and a powerful vocalist. Born in Auburn\, Alabama\, he was raised on southern rock with bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Allman Brothers\, roots\, country\, and gospel music intertwined with the late 60’s Laurel Canyon folk scene.  He has been inspired by the authenticity and artistry of his heroes like Tom Petty\, The Rolling Stones\, Neil Young\, and Jackson Browne. As a child\, Paul was obsessed with everything music related\, but never considered the idea of being a musician until his father bought him a guitar for Christmas at the age of 15. He immediately started writing his own songs and playing shows around town\, but it was always more of a hobby and form of self-expression than a career path. In college\, he joined the school’s gospel choir and toured all through the southeast performing at small southern baptist churches. During this time\, he was still writing his own songs and was pushed once again by friends to start playing in bars and local venues around town. By his early 20’s he had started a band called “Hightide Blues” and was touring and making records full time. “It all seemed to happen pretty quick and naturally. I’ve been carrying around a guitar since I was a kid\, and as soon as I ever tried to go in a different direction (he was two classes away from majoring in Biomedical Sciences at Auburn University)\, the universe would always pull me right back to the music. I always felt like I was supposed to be writing songs and playing shows for the rest of my life. There was no other option….and I haven’t looked back ever since.” Although his life on the road in his 20’s was necessary for his growth and understanding the ropes of the business (he was playing almost 250 shows a year)\, all good things have to come to an end. After years of fronting various rock and alt-country rock bands including The Grand Magnolias\, Hightide Blues\, and a short stint in a LA Americana duo\, Paul was on the search to find his own voice. He moved to Los Angeles in 2010 to work with major labels and established pop & rock producers experimenting with different sounds and genres and leaning into the art of co-writing and top-lining on pop tracks\, but after a few years and a few albums that were never released\, he decided that LA was a bit much and the grit and realness of the East Nashville community was more his speed. He moved back home in 2014 and with the help from his peers and producer Jordan Lehning\, he independently released his first solo debut “Modern Hearts” in 2018\, which introduced a more alternative rock approach and brought him widespread exposure through tours across the U.S. \,a record deal with Vacancy Records in the U.K \, along with song placements in major motion pictures\, commercials\, with songwriting cuts on other major artist records. “Modern Hearts’ is a result of years of personal experiences\, good and bad. This record is Paul hitting rock bottom and then slowing crawling out of that hole. “It was getting back to basics and then finally arriving on a sound that felt like home. It’s about rebirth and bursts with serious hooks and anthems; desperation is tempered with introspection and\, ultimately\, redemption.” Paul’s hope & mission is to spread peace\, love\, and unity through his music. Connection & community through song. He’s currently putting the finishing touches on his sophomore album with producer Anthony Da Costa and plans on having new music out in 2023. Yannon: Yannon is a singer-songwriter based in St. Louis. She does not like writing bios but dang does she love to sing. Yannon is a long-time choir nerd who writes music to find her safe haven. Her goal is for others to find theirs in her sounds and stories\, too. Yannon’s debut album “Cohesion\,” features soulful synthpop\, jazzy vocals\, and tender lyrics weaved together to create gut-wrenching ballads that she hopes get people to dance\, cry\, and hum to on their daily commute. She’s looking forward to her new songs being released in 2023 and her upcoming live performances. Stay tuned. 21+ UNLESS ACCOMPANIED BY PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN

SUMMARY:Florry
DESCRIPTION:AGES 18+ After some folk/country directions on their 2021 EP\, Big Fall\, Philadelphia country band rock band Florry is back with their Dear Life debut\, the four song Sweet Guitar Solos. Whoever gave them those directions did a pretty good job because on their new EP they definitely seem like they’ve gotten to where they needed to be. Culled from various outtakes recorded between 2021 and 2022\, the band slips and slides from a four-piece lineup to a seven-piece band with two- three guitars\, fiddle\, pedal steel\, and vocal accompaniment. The band does a lot of things\, such as raggedy alt country\, cowpunk\, and country rock\, but mostly they have fun. On an electric version of 2021 track Big Fall is frontwoman Francie Medosch\, bassist Jared Radichel\, second guitarist John Murray\, and drummer Joey Sullivan. When I Kicked You Out of the Band (I Wasn’t Kicking You Out Of My Life) sees the band add vocal accompanist/acoustic guitar player Victoria Rose and fiddle player Will Henriksen\, with Murray on lap steel. The band finally lands on their current lineup with Cowgirl in a Ditch\, with Murray back on guitar and Sam Silbert on pedal steel. The band also covers Lisa’s Birthday from the Drive-By Truckers.

SUMMARY:Baked Shrimp w/ Kirkos
DESCRIPTION:“Baked Shrimp\, the high-octane progressive fusion trio\, has emerged as a young rising powerhouse in the festival circuit. Hailing from Long Island\, NY\, Jared Cowen (Guitar/Vocals)\, Scott Reill (Bass/Vocals)\, and Jager Soss (Drums/Vocals) showcase their energetic and improvisational talents\, transforming their three-piece sound into a symphonic experience. The band had a groundbreaking year in 2022\, performing over 120 concerts across the United States and making their debut in Canada. As 2023 unfolds\, their success is set to soar even higher. Kicking off the year with an electrifying show supporting the Disco Biscuits\, Baked Shrimp embarked on a massive headlining Spring Tour. The trio is also slated to make their festival debuts at prestigious events like Peach Music Festival\, Summer Camp Music Festival\, Strange Creek Camp Out\, and Northlands Live. In July\, they will take the main stage at their hometown event\, the Great South Bay Music Festival\, where they will share the spotlight with Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead. Baked Shrimp has garnered additional recognition by providing direct support for acclaimed artists such as Pink Talking Fish\, Dopapod\, Aqueous\, Mihali (from Twiddle)\, and Kung Fu. Notably\, the band hosts their own festival in Upstate New York called LonCon\, created as a tribute to their most devoted supporter and ambassador\, Lon “Conscious” Gellman. LonCon features live music\, art\, and two nights of camping\, and plans are underway to bring the festival back in 2024. Amidst their demanding touring schedule\, Baked Shrimp has consistently released new music. Their 2021 album\, Conscious\, received critical acclaim from media outlets like LiveForLiveMusic\, Grateful Web\, and The Sound Podcast with Ira Haberman. Following a quick release of the three-disc live album\, The Prawno Tapes\, Vol. 1\, the band returned to the studio to complete their early-2022 release\, Pork Etiquette. JamBase’s Release Day Picks featured Pork Etiquette alongside albums by renowned artists such as Vulfpeck\, The Weeknd\, Lotus\, and Cory Wong. Currently\, the trio is hard at work in the studio\, laying the groundwork for their fourth studio album\, set for release in the fall of 2023. With an upcoming nearly 50-date Summer Tour\, Baked Shrimp is more prepared than ever to captivate the music world. No longer Long Island’s best-kept secret\, they have become the hardest working band in the business\, captivating audiences and leaving an indelible impression wherever they go. Baked Shrimp is a secret that simply cannot be kept.”   21+ UNLESS ACCOMPANIED BY PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN

SUMMARY:Drew's Adventures
DESCRIPTION:Drew Michael embarks on the journey of a lifetime\, meeting many characters and battling foes\, in an effort to win the heart of the one he loves most. \nThis is a one-man show about Drew’s experience with hearing loss. It includes stand up as well as audio-visual components. It’s funny. It’s deeply personal. This is not a show for people “just looking to laugh.” If that’s you\, stay home. You will laugh\, but if you want something more than just that from a show\, please come. \nDrew is a writer and comedian in Brooklyn. His most recent HBO special\, Red Blue Green\, was hailed as “one of the best specials I’ve seen… searing and precise\, philosophical and hilarious” by the New York Times as it continued to push the boundaries of what a stand-up special can be. It earned him his second Writers Guild Award nomination. \nHis first HBO special\, the self-titled Drew Michael — also nominated for a Writers Guild Award — was released to widespread critical acclaim. Its radical approach in both format and content led The New York times to exalt it as “thrillingly subversive\,” while GQ raved that Drew “represents the past and future of stand-up comedy.” \nDrew has also released a half-hour special on Comedy Central (The Half Hour) as well as three full-length live albums (Drew Michael\, Funny to Death\, Lovely)\, and has written for Saturday Night Live. \nHe has done a lot of other things\, too\, most of which are not relevant here. \n

SUMMARY:Katie Touplin & Austin Plaine (rescheduled)
DESCRIPTION:Ages 21+ Unless Accompanied by a Parent or Legal Guardian. The solo debut from Katie Toupin\, Magnetic Moves takes its title from its spellbinding opening track\, a song that’s quietly defiant in its bending of reality. “It’s about being bold and being brave\, and using your magnetism to create the world you want to live in\,” says the L.A.-based singer/songwriter. “The whole album came from a place of wanting to be completely direct\, in a way I never felt I could before. I think it’s important to let yourself show your heart like that.” In the spirit of self-reliance\, Toupin took the reins in producing Magnetic Moves\, her first full-length since leaving acclaimed alt-country band Houndmouth in 2016. Although she’d originally cut several songs with other producers\, an impromptu recording session during a stop in Austin on her 2018 house tour inspired her to strike out on her own. “Every time I’d tried working with other people\, it never turned out in a way that felt right to me\,” she says. “And then when I finally tried producing by myself\, it felt so easy—I realized I knew exactly what I wanted everything to sound like; I just needed the confidence to actually do it.” Mixed by Steve Christensen (a Grammy Award-winner known for his work with Steve Earle)\, Magnetic Moves came to life in two marathon sessions at The Finishing School in Austin. With multi-instrumentalist Scott Davis and percussionist Josh Blue accompanying Toupin\, the album unfolds in a dreamy pastiche of soul and pop and brightly jangly ’70s rock\, a sound that’s lavishly detailed but fantastically fluid. And in her unfussy yet radiant vocal performance\, Toupin channels both self-possession and raw vulnerability\, fully inhabiting each state of being.

SUMMARY:Dogs in a Pile
DESCRIPTION:The sandy shores of Asbury Park\, New Jersey are hallowed ground in the northeast; the rolling waves have ushered generations of venerated musicians to worldwide acclaim. Dogs in a Pile\, an eclectic quintet\, has emerged as the heir apparent to the town’s rich musical legacy. Merging funk\, jazz\, and rock and roll with psychedelia\, the quintet presents a completely original vibe built on kaleidoscopic soundscapes eerily reminiscent of the days of yesteryear. The Dogs employ a unified approach to performance and songwriting\, crafting aural mosaics through adept instrumentation and humble precocity. As avid storytellers\, they draw inspiration from personal experiences\, balancing life’s foibles with ever-present youthful sanguinity. Dogs began when Philadelphia University of the Arts guitar gun-slinger Jimmy Law began playing with young Joe Babick (drums)\, a student at the Count Basie Theater program in Red Bank\, NJ.  Lightning struck when they were introduced to Berklee School of Music student and bass player Sam Lucid\, who immediately suggested fellow Berklee student and keyboard player Jeremy Kaplan. The addition of fellow Berklee student Brian Murray (guitar) in 2019 made for the quintessential final piece in the Dogs’ puzzle. A string of successful local shows drove the development of a massive northeast fan base\, affectionately known as the Dog Pound. The band’s astronomical growth culminated in an epic\, sold-out performance at the legendary Stone Pony in Asbury Park during the summer of 2021. Armed with a fresh batch of new material\, Dogs in a Pile is taking its perpetually evolving testament to the Great American Songbook on tour in 2022\, visiting plenty of new cities and spreading good music and good energy to good people along the way

Comedy Off Broadway\, Richmond Funny bone\, West Palm Beach Improv\, Stardome\, Zanies\, Comedy House\, Vb Funny bone\, just to name a few. \nHe has previously showcased his talent on NBC for Last Comic Standing. SUMMARY:Al Holliday & The East Side Rhythm Band Presents "All I Want"
DESCRIPTION:Come and join us for this special Listening Room presentation of our brand new album\, “ALL I WANT” – which we are celebrating the official worldwide release of the album to streaming services. \n“ALL I WANT” is a love letter and testament to the American Multi-racial Working Class. The album’s release comes after years of careful work from the band \, and we are thrilled to finally release the album to all platforms for all to enjoy. \nThere is just one band family who does their thing the way they do a band who can sound as hot and as thick as the breath of the Mississippi River in the St. Louis summertime\, and can turn around and lay it down as cool as the breeze. Music lovers draw some comparisons to large groups like Delaney & Bonnie and Friends\, the Tedeschi Trucks Band\, and Joe Cockers Mad Dogs & Englishmen – As much is there is that is there is influences of Taj Mahal\, Billy Preston\, Leon Russell\, and Allen Toussaint but AL HOLLIDAY & THE EAST SIDE RHYTHM BAND\, with the muddy water in their veins no doubt\, come with their very own game. The young man and the band bring a package only describable as essentially American – a sound distinct to the Big Muddy and their river city home where the four winds blow.
