100 Boots: Nathaniel Mackey and Natalie Shapero

Nathaniel Mackey was born in Miami and raised in Southern California. He earned his BA from Princeton University and his PhD from Stanford University. Mackey is currently the Reynolds Price Professor of Creative Writing at Duke University.

Natalie Shapero was born in Chester, Pennsylvania and earned a BA in Writing Seminars from the Johns Hopkins University, an MFA in Poetry from the Ohio State University, and a JD from the University of Chicago. Shapero teaches at Tufts University.
