The House Trio is a Central Illinois group formed by guitarist Jose Gobbo, bassist Ben Taylor and drummer Nikola Djokic. Since December 2020 they have aired 52 consecutive weekly Livestreams on YouTube, exploring a repertoire of over 400 different tunes.
Born online, the group made its way into real life and recorded the album “Live From Home” in May 2021 featuring 10 of Jose’s original compositions, and have performed in New York City, Chicago, Nashville, Cincinnati and St. Louis.
Their sound is Brazilian, American, Serbian, jazz, pop, post-modern, new-retro, you name it.
