In Grand Center Arts District, world-class talent performs, and aspiring artists hone their craft. Eclectic venues line the streets offering everything from Broadway to Black Box Theater, Bebop to Beethoven, street art to galleries and sushi to soul food. Engaging media, inviting parks, inspiring museums and welcoming hotels round out this ever-evolving cultural crossroads.

New in the District

May 11 marks the opening day for Rise at CAM. The renowned coffeehouse opens its second location within the Contemporary Art Museum and will be serving great coffee and scrumptious food. The excellence of the exhibits at CAM will now be partnered with the foodie vision from Rise. Focusing on a gathering space for the community, it will become the perfect spot for lunch-time treats in the magnificent environs of Grand Center Arts District.

What draws you in? Musicals, drama, jazz, the symphony? Or maybe it’s the cuisine, the galleries, the media, or the prime people watching. No matter the reason, drive, bike, catch a ride to Grand Center Arts District. Just west of downtown, this is a trip with something for everyone.

Bike / Car

Find our exact location here. Follow Grand Blvd. to the heart of the district. Or on busy nights beat the traffic by taking either Vandeventer or Compton.

Public Transit

Take MetroBus #70 and hop off at any of the several Grand stops. Also, the Grand MetroLink Station is just two blocks from Grand Center Arts District.

We are north of Hwy 64/40 and St. Louis University on Grand. While Grand is the heart of the district, art awaits a block or two in either direction.

Parking

We’re ready for you with on-street metered parking, secure parking lots or two covered parking garages. Evening rates are generally $10 - $20.
