Ellington’s Nutcracker

Celebrate the Holidays with a special showcase of Duke Ellington’s Nutcracker Suite performed by the Jazz St.Louis Big Band. These jazz interpretations of Tchaikovsky’s ballet, arranged by Ellington and Billy Strayhorn, are all played from the original charts! The evening will also include Ellington classics like “Take the A Train” and “Cottontail.”

To ensure the health and safety of our audiences, artists, volunteers, and staff, Jazz St. Louis requires all patrons to provide the following prior to entry to The Harold & Dorothy Steward Center for Jazz:

• A valid photo ID, AND;
• A vaccination card with name that indicates full vaccination, OR
• A photo of a complete vaccination card with name, OR
• A negative RT-PCR test taken within 72 hours of a concert date, OR
• A negative antigen test taken within 24 hours of a concert date
