WINNER! BEST AMERICAN PLAY!

PULITZER PRIZE FINALIST!

Playwright Heidi Schreck’s boundary-breaking memoir play, breathes new life into our Constitution and imagines how it will shape the next generation of Americans.

Schreck digs into the beauty, aspirations, contradictions, and failures of the U. S. Constitution by looking at it through several lenses.

Actor Michelle Hand brilliantly resurrects Schreck’s fifteen-year-old and present self in order to trace the profound relationship between four generations of women in her family and the founding document that shaped their lives.

We invite you to engage in an essential conversation and determine, like Schreck, what the Constitution means to you.
