The Marcell is back for a very special event! The Story of My Life, presented by New Line Theatre, follows the friendship of Alvin and Thomas, two lifelong friends from a small town who are reunited after Alvin’s mysterious death. Tickets to the show are on sale now for various dates through October 23rd. Join eight dance troupes in Strauss Park for Fall DanceFest on Saturday, October 30th, from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm. See performances from a variety of dance companies include Ashleyliane Dance Company, Aalim Dance Company, Ballet 314, Beyond Measure Dance Theatre, Consuming Kinetics Dance Company, MADCO, Pazazz Performing Company, and The Big Muddy Dance Trainees. 💃

The Kranzberg Arts Foundation invites you to experience Wednesday Night Jazz Jam! This free and family-friendly event brings jazz within reach for people of all ages and backgrounds. The Jazz Jam takes place inside The Dark Room every Wednesday. Gather your family, mask up, and enjoy local music from 6–9 pm. 🎵


You deserve a break! Join Pulitzer Arts Foundation outdoors in the museum’s courtyard and Park-Like for their Fall Break and Poetry Pop-up. Guests will enjoy live performances and will take home polaroids, a limited-edition Pulitzer tee, and other free goodies to remember the night by. The wait is over! Commonwealth, located inside the Angad Arts Hotel, is now open in the former Grand Tavern space. The restaurant features dishes inspired by “worldly flavors” from more than 50 British Commonwealth nations, from Europe and Asia to the Americas. Commonwealth’s bar is also internationally-influenced, complete with beer, wine, and craft cocktails. Commonwealth is open for dinner 4–10 pm Tuesday through Thursday and 4–11 pm Friday and Saturday. Breakfast hours are 7–11 am daily. Reservations can be made here. 🍸
