Electrical Box Painting Project — Grand Center Arts District
Grand Center Inc. invites artists to transform District electrical boxes into vibrant public artworks that celebrate creativity, community, and place-making in Midtown St. Louis.
Project Overview
Engage local artists to create site-specific designs on utility boxes within the Grand Center Arts District — deterring vandalism, enhancing the pedestrian experience, and reflecting the District’s artistic identity.
Eligibility
— Artists living or working in the St. Louis region.
— All experience levels welcome.
— Collaborative proposals accepted.
Compensation
Selected artist will receive a $1,200 stipend, with $300 provided upfront for materials and the remaining $900 awarded upon successful project completion.
