The fourth installment of our Tenth Anniversary Dinner Series featuring themed dinner & beer pairings!

January 26, 2021 marked ten years since we opened our doors in 2011. To celebrate, we’re hosting specifically-themed events celebrating both our German heritage and our St. Louis roots.
Once a month, our talented culinary staff will team up with our brewers, and a guest chef, to put together a special menu featuring inspired and creative dishes paired with new beer releases.
Join us at the Midtown Brewery & Biergarten on Tuesday, April 27th and Wednesday, April 28th to get your fill of Crawfish Boil and wash it down with a special draught sneak preview of our next beer to hit the shelves: Lil’ Fritz, Light Citrus Wheat! At only 99 calories and 4% ABV (per 12oz. serving), Lil’ Fritz is the perfect, refreshing companion to our boil, which is a traditional Cajun mix of crawfish, potatoes, corn, andouille sausage, mushrooms, and onions. Be forewarned…it’s spicy!
This year’s event will consist of two sessions and will require reservations. Reservations are made “by the table” meaning you will purchase one table that will include enough of Chef Matt’s Crawfish Boil and Chicken Andouille Gumbo to serve each person in your party. (One bowl of gumbo per person, and 2 pounds of crawfish boiled with G&W smoked andouille, potatoes, corn, and mushrooms per person).
Lil’ Fritz and other UCBC biers will be available to purchase on tap.
Tickets will go on sale on Friday, April 9th. There are 20 tables per session.

Capacity: We are currently operating at 30% capacity in the Grove Bierhall
Sanitizer stations will be installed at convenient locations including points of entry/exit and restroom area.
All guests will be required to wear a face covering/masks, and they will be allowed to remove their face coverings when they are seated at a table and/or when drinking.
UCBC will provide seating which allows for responsible social distancing with at least 6ft. of distance between parties.
UCBC requires all employees to receive health screening questionnaires and temperature checks prior to the start of their workday or before entering UCBC workspaces.
To ensure proper contact tracing protocols are in place, UCBC requires all staff and vendors to sign in upon entering UCBC locations.
All guests will be requested to provide full contact information. We reserve the right to share this information with public health authorities as necessary.
Our staff will regulate entrance for all members of the public.
Beverage service steps will be implemented adhering to best practices for limiting person-to-person contact.

7 days: Attendees can receive full refunds up to 7 days before the event start date. After 7 days up to the event date, attendees may receive refunds in the form of Urban Chestnut gift certificates to be used on beer, food, and merchandise purchased through our online store or on-site at either location.
This event is rain or shine. In the case of inclement weather, we will move the event indoors.
In the case of venue closure due to COVID-19, attendees will receive a refund in the form of Urban Chestnut gift certificates.
