CAM’s 2022 Gala is all about getting back into the swim of things. Experience a Palm Springs pool party (sans pool) with big sunglasses, cool coifs, and gimlets galore. Isn’t that Julie Christie behind those Foster Grants? Inspired by the poolside glamor shots of artist Martine Gutierrez, whose Hit Movie: Vol. 1 is on view during CAM’s spring/summer exhibitions, DIVE IN encourages everyone to go absolutely mod through fashion and swagger, fine dining and dancing (do the Swim!), and cocktails with a twist. The gala not only supports CAM’s dynamic range of exhibitions, public programs, educational initiatives, and community collaborations, but this year we honor two sunny spirits who have made St. Louis better—Nancy and Ken Kranzberg. Nancy and Ken supported CAM long before it moved into its corner cabana on Washington Boulevard. In recent years they have made the Grand Center Arts District come alive under the umbrella of the Kranzberg Arts Foundation. The Kranzbergs always DIVE IN!
