Founder Fundamentals: Small Business vs. Startup

These sessions provide simple but vital tips and best practices to aid you in providing stronger applications that better reflect your business. Each event in this four-part series will have a different area of focus and will feature an array of past Arch Grants awardees and industry experts as they share their best practices and lessons learned. Our second Founder Fundamentals session is focused on understanding the differences between running a small business and founding a startup, and what the advantages and challenges are to each. Hear from a combination of startup founders, small business owners and experts who service and support both groups throughout the region. The session will include a panel discussion and small group work where you’ll have the chance to ask questions and hear insights from past awardees and ESO leaders.
