Zoe Perkins discusses the principles used in modern art conservation, the various approaches possible when undertaking treatments, and new technologies being adapted in the field. Using images of before and after treatments on a variety of art works including paintings, sculpture, furniture, and textiles, Zoe reveals the backstories, challenges, and rewards that arise when conserving a work of art.
