Description: In this introduction to Outdoor and Landscape Photography Bob will share insights on to how to approach a scene and make decisions that will help achieve the image you are looking for as you proceed with your final touches in Photoshop and other software.
Bob Protus is a freelance photographer (Kool Cats Photography). Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY  he went into the USAF in 1969. Separated from service in 1973. Got hired at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City and started my career as a Jet Engine inspector for the Air Force. He started in Photography in the middle 70’s and has photographed weddings, youth soccer teams. He worked as a photographer for the Oklahoma City Zoo and taught photography at Francis Tuttle Technology Center and the Public Library.
Bob’s main focus is photographing small towns, barns, windmills, general landscapes, Architecture, Railroads, Aircraft Shows (Military), street photography, Car Shows, classic cars. He’s also traveled extensively in the West photographing the National Parks (Arches, Monument Valley, Shiprock NM, Mesa Verde, Canyon de Chelly, Canyonlands, etc.).

IPHF’s Virtual Lecture Series will be hosted on the Zoom Video Communications platform. Links to meetings will be provided after registration. Technical assistance will be available at IPHF by phone and email.
