“You can’t see what I can see” St. Louis and the story of the Video Mix series, hosted by the God Pops of Hip Hop, G.Wiz. Did you know that the video mix tape was conceived right here in St. Louis? Come hear the stories of luck, pain, stress, and success from the 4 individuals (G.Wiz, Alejandro Cornejo aka DJ Alejan, DJ Charlie Chan Soprano, & DJ Kut) who provided the music industry with a creative marketing component that helped promote their music. From Atlantic Records, IGA Music Group, NARAS, Def Jam, (musical artists: Case, Method Man, Ghostface), TVT Records, Sony Records, & MTV2 (smh). You will not only hear the stories but see the video projects that were never released to the public. Followed by a Q&A. Currently three of the video mixes are archived in the Universal Hip Hop Museum, in the Bronx, NY.
