Over the past six months, Grand Center Inc. has been working with three local artists to give the hydrants throughout the District a much-needed makeover. The Big Muddy Dance Company invites you to their upcoming performance of Black, Brown, and Beige, a celebration of jazz music heritage through movement and stories, on January 28th and 29th at The Grandel Theatre. This multi-organization collaboration will feature work by five local artists, including live music by Jazz St. Louis and performances by The Black Rep, featuring three fellow actors in spoken word and performing choreography with The Big Muddy dancers. The Contemporary Art Museum has numerous ways to learn and connect with art this month, starting with Play Date on January 8th from 10-11am.
